Over the past several days/weeks many of you have voiced your concerns about how the communication and overall vibe of the clipmarks community can be maintained as it grows. I have read a number of clipmarks about this as well as the many comments that have been posted. I'm writing this post primarily for one reason..to let you know that i share the concern.
The social dynamic amongst us is the lifeblood of clipmarks. As far as i'm concerned, we have become each other's web editors. Not something to be taken lightly. And we don't just do this by clipping things we find on the web. We also do it by listening to each others' perspective on what has been clipped.
I believe that at the end of the day, it is this social dynamic that gives clipping its meaning...its purpose. Therefore, as far as i'm concerned, if the social dynamic goes, so to will the purpose and enjoyment of clipping.
Bottom line is that when it comes to maintaining the quality of the interaction amongst us as the size of "us" grows, I can't say that i have all the answers. But i am saying that it is our number one priority and the motivation for nearly all our development.
As i hope we've made clear, we're open and eager to all suggestions or criticisms you might have now or along the way as we try to continue creating something special here.
